Bring a lawn chair or blanket for Mass with Bishop J. Peter Sartain - and close the summer season with this great young adult liturgy, followed by a catered picnic on the grounds of the diocesan pastoral center.

This event costs $5.00 for the picnic in advance (or $10.00 at the door that day).

In case of rain, the event will be held indoors in the Pastoral Center.  Tickets are available at Theology-on-Tap sites or by contacting Nancy Ferencik at (815) 834-4048 or email.

We will carpool to the Wisconsin Riverside Resort in Spring Green, Wisconsin, where we will rent canoes and paddle to our campsite, stopping along the way for prayer, discussion, and quiet reflection.  We will camp by the river overnight for "spirituality under the stars" with our campfire nearby.

All young adults are invited to this special event focusing on the Blessed Virgin Mary's role in our lives and in the Catholic Church. Speakers include Fr. Thomas Loya, Msgr. Stuart Swetland, and Bishop J.P. Sartain.

Registration is $25 per person, which covers lunch and materials.  This event is sponsored by the seminarians of Mundelein Seminary and open to adults of all ages.

New Online Retreat: 

Living the Eucharist

The mystery of the Eucharist is not only something we celebrate, it is also a reality that we seek to live as followers of Jesus. 

Young adults are invited to go through the online retreat over a period of four weeks and make use of the recommended Scripture readings and reflection questions for your prayer time.  We suggest that participants take about 20 to 30 minutes per day to pray with the Scripture passages and reflect on the questions.  There will be one article per week with readings and reflection questions for every day during the four weeks of retreats.
