The workshop is an effort to be ever charitable and ever faithful to the Church's teachings regarding marriage.  Although it is a contentious and emotional issue, it has been my feeling that, if we are to speak of the Church's stand against same-sex marriage, we deacons, and others, need to know what we're talking about.  The workshop addresses that.
