New Diaconate Formation Class to Begin in August 2009

We are pleased to announce that the Diocese of Joliet Diaconate Formation Program will begin accepting applications in November for the Formation Class that will commence studies in August 2009. The admission process is thorough and begins with potential applicants becoming aware of the requirements of the formation program and the application procedures. To that end, we will be holding orientation sessions for potential members of the Class of 2013 according to the following schedule:

Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at St. Mary Parish
140 N. Oakwood Avenue, West Chicago
The meeting will begin at 7:30 PM in St. Francis Hall

Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at St Teresa Parish
361 St. Joseph Ave, Kankakee
The meeting will begin at 7:30 PM in the Pastoral Center

Thursday, October 16, 2008 at St Charles Pastoral Center

The meeting will begin at 7:30 PM in Room 155.

For those married men interested in exploring the possibility of becoming a deacon, we strongly suggest that your wife attend the orientation session with you.
