SCHOLARSHIPS
Bishop Blanchette Scholarship Fund
Information for the 2010 Bishop Blanchette Scholarship
has been recently
mailed to parish presidents.
About the Bishop Blanchette Scholarship
Established in 1982, the living memorial which honors the late Bishop Romeo Blanchette is supported by donations.
Scholarships in his name are made available each year to students in a
parish with an affiliated Council of Catholic Women Organization and who
will be attending a Catholic High School in the Joliet Diocese.
Students are nominated by their parishes. Scholarship awards
are made on the basis of scholastic achievement and financial need, as well as a statement from candidates
in which they express their reasons for wanting a Catholic education.
